RESOURCES FOR EDUCATORS
Lesson Plans
We provide teachers with resources they need to teach students about the watershed they live in. These include lessons that are specifically targeted to species, resources, issues, and stewardship in the Blackfoot. We are continually trying to update and improve lessons, so please contact our team with any suggestions you might have!

Teachers’ Steering Council
Comprised of representatives from all K-8 schools in the watershed, the Teachers’ Steering Council is the foundation of the Challenge’s place-based education programming. The Council meets twice a year to discuss and direct the variety of educational offerings coordinated by the Blackfoot Challenge. The Council always welcomes new members – if you are a teacher in the watershed and would like to join, please contact our Education Coordinators Alyssa Daniels or Elaine Caton.
