For the past two years, the Blackfoot Challenge, Clearwater Resource Council, Swan Valley Connections and the Southwest Crown Collaborative have monitored streams to better understand water flow patterns and water quality during run-off. This program engages youth and local citizens in better understanding the influences and changes impacting watersheds on public lands. In addition, the data collected provides baseline knowledge of stream health to inform potential forest restoration projects through the Southwest Crown Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Program.
